Sextant
Though Sextant is known as a Zinfandel house, they will soon be expanding their offerings to include Estate grown Edna Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with their recent acquisition of the 25 acre Mac Gregor property. Plans to build their Sextant Winery on the 25 acre property here in SLO is in the works but will have a temporary tasting room in the mean time at 3536 s. Higuera set to open by July 1st . Craig Stoller is no strangers to the industry as he has been involved in the wine grape nursery business since 1991 and now enjoys his new found success in the wine making process. Wine Enthusiast recently scored their 2005“Wheelhouse” Zinfandel 89 pts. and received 90 pts from Robert Parker for their 2004 "Nightwatch" Zinfandel based blend.
