Wood Winery

Wood Winery, formerly known as Wild Wood Vineyard & Winery is family owned and operated. We are located at the base of the Cuesta Grade in San Luis Obispo. The unique microclimate on the 80 acre estate is ideal for growing ultra rich Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and other varietals. Winemaker Craig Wood's focus is on hand-crafted, single-vineyard wines. His passion for quality starts in the vineyard where he personally tends to the vines and finishes in the bottle. We also produce the brands of Tipsy Dog Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, from our Edna Valley vineyards, Rosé Palm - Rosé of Syrah, Vino Pastoso - Sangiovese, Raffiné - a Bordeaux Blend and Spanish Fly Albariño. Our tasting room is open by appointment. Come on by and taste our award winning wines!

    This light golden wine is both floral and clean. Aromas of toast and honey are matched with a taste of citrus.

    Wildwood 03 Cabernet Sauvignon $35 "The small, dark, and concentrated clusters of grapes derived from Jackson Vineyard were hand harvested at full Maturity and barrel aged in American and French oak for 18 months. The result is a ripe, complex and elegant wine that represents the expression of it's terrior and vintage."

  • 2003 Syrah, Gina's Vineyard $28.00

    This is the second harvest from Gina's Vineyard which produces dark, rich, and concentrated clusters of exotic spicy fruit. These grapes were hand harvested and barrel aged in American and French oak for 18 months. The result is a ripe, complex and elegant wine that represents the expression of its terroir and vintage.
